Bowflex Treadmill 10 Review – Benefits:

Full-Color, 10-inch Screen

Get a more immersive training experience with the eye-level, touch-screen console on this treadmill.

You can connect with Bowflex JRNY – Bowflex’s online streaming service – and run trails all over the world or get personalized coaching workouts to your treadmill.

You can also connect to your services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or Disney Plus to watch your favorite shows as you walk (more on JRNY below). The console screen is also adjustable so you can find the right viewing angle for you.

There’s also a shelf to hold your tablet or phone – and one-touch buttons alone the bottom of the console for quick, on-the-fly changes.

Add Crosstraining with 5% Decline

In addition to 15% incline, you also get up to 5% decline on the Bowflex 10 treadmill. This is great for crosstraining or for just taking a break after a long, intense interval.

The incline and decline also work with the JRNY workouts and world trails to incline or decline to match the program.

Get Personalized Training with Bowflex JRNY

You can connect to JRNY – Bowflex’s online streaming service – through the touch-screen on this treadmill. From there you can do all sorts of fun things.

You can run trails all over the world and see the scenery pass you by in the console screen for a virtual-reality type of experience.

You can also get personalized voice-coached workouts that automatically adapt as your running improves. There’s also a trainer-led video library so you can take a walking or running fitness class from the comfort of your own home.

Just want to relax?

No problem. You can connect to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or Disney plus accounts through the screen using JRNY and watch your favorite shows or movies as you run.

There are so many things to do with JRNY that you’ll never run out of new things to try. Plus they’re always adding more!

While JRNY is a monthly subscription service, if you get the Bowflex Treadmill 10 through the link below you can get a FREE 6 month subscription included with your treadmill (for a short time only).

So you can try it out for 6 months to see if you like it. (You don’t need a JRNY subscription to use this treadmill – it’s more of an add-on service if you want it.)

Speed and Incline Controls on the Side Handrails

Adjust the speed or incline from the controls on the side handrails without reaching up to the front console and breaking your stride. It’s a little thing – but very convenient – and especially handy if you’re a runner.

Free Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor

As of this writing, you can currently get a Free Bluetooth heart rate tracking arm band included with the Bowflex 10 Treadmill. So you can track your heart rate and stay in your target fat-burning zone.

Folds Up to Save Space

The Bowflex Treadmill 10 also comes with a shock-assisted folding mechanism which makes it easier to fold or unfold the treadmill.

You can save space when this treadmill is folded up. It also makes it easier to clean under and around the workout area.

Bowflex Treadmill 10 Review – Any Drawbacks?

JRNY Subscription

While you don’t need it to use the treadmill, JRNY is a streaming monthly subscription. So if you decide you want to use it after the free trial you’ll have to renew your subscription.

Also the Bowflex 10 model doesn’t have the higher 20% incline or the added enhanced arm bar that you find on the Bowflex 22 Treadmill – which may or may not matter to you.

Finally, this is a heavy, bulky treadmill. That makes it great for stability and running. But if you just want a lightweight, easy-to-move treadmill, this probably isn’t the best option for you.

Bottom Line?

If you’re looking for an affordable runners treadmill with gym-quality bells and whistles, the Bowflex 10 treadmill is worth checking out.

You can stream a new workout to your treadmill, get personalized coaching programs or explore trails around the world through the touch-screen console.

Or if you just want to unwind, watch your Netflix, Hulu or Disney shows through the JRNY app on the console.

Runners will also appreciate the extra-long belt, side handrail controls and decline option for added crosstraining.
