iFit LIVE – How It Works On A Treadmill
Video Demo of What You Get With iFit LIVE Treadmills:
Confused by iFit LIVE? I know I was when it first came out.
The basic fact is that there is so much iFit can do that it can be confusing for people.
With that in mind, I found this video below which is a pretty decent demo of how it works and what you get.
Be sure to read the comments below the video for a few things you should also know that are not in the video!
There are a few things you should know about iFit and this video:
#1 The iFit LIVE treadmill shown in the video is an older version of the Nordictrack Elite 9500. It has since been phased out.
The newer version (as of this writing) is about $2999 – which is way too expensive for most people. You don’t have to spend that much for a decent treadmill with iFit LIVE.
If you’re looking for a similar model to this with iFit LIVE you can check out the NT commercial 1750 treadmill, the X9 incline trainer or the new Proform 1495.
#2 iFit LIVE is found only on higher end ICON brands like Proform, Nordictrack and Freemotion. It’s not found on any other brand other than the high end ICON brands.
(And it’s not found on many of the older versions of these treadmills either)
#3 The most popular treadmill with iFit is probably the NT commercial 1750 treadmill which comes with a full color web browser, decline and an extra wide deck.
#4 Also note, there are 2 different versions of iFit – built-in and with added module. The one shown in the video is the built-in version (with web browser). Basically any ICON treadmill with a web browser will come with iFit LIVE built-in. (All treadmills listed above in #2 come with iFit LiVE built-in).
This is a benefit because you can just connect to the Internet and go. You don’t need to buy the module (which is about $100 as of this writing).
