So when they came out with the F3 – more of an affordable home model – it gained a lot of interest from buyers.
It gives you the sleek style and design the Life Fitness is known for – plus unlike many of their commercial treadmills – it also folds up to save space.

Pros of the 2014 Life Fitness F3 Go Treadmill:
Backlit Console With Easy Start Buttons
The Go Console is large and backlit, making your stats easy to read. It’s simple and sleek in design – plus they have the most commonly used buttons along the bottom for a quickstart to your workout.
FlexDeck Cushioning
The Flexdeck cushioning system on this treadmill reduces impact by 30% as compared to road running – which is great for joggers or frequent runners who need that extra protection.
Energy Saver Mode

Cons of the Life Fitness F3 Treadmill:
Customizable Workout Not Available With the Go Console
Be careful when you go to buy this. Life Fitness puts out their F3 video that states you can build your own custom workouts online then reload it into your treadmill – but that only applies to the Life Fitness F3 Track + console – not the Life Fitness F3 Go console.
Doesn’t Compare Against the Competition Very Well
While you can’t fault the Life Fitness name, it doesn’t give you as much as other brands that are $400 – $800 less. For example the belt is on the shorter side (55 inches). And you only get up to 12% incline. At this price point, a 15% incline and a 60 inch long belt is pretty standard.
Also the warranty is not as good as other treadmills – and the console is much simpler with a lot less options than other models.
Compare it to what you get with the Nordictrack Commercial 2950 for example with a 4.25 HP motor, full color console, TV, web browser and extra long 60 inch deck and you’ll see that the F3 doesn’t measure up that well.
Bottom Line?
If you’re looking for a more affordable Life Fitness treadmill (that also folds up), you may want to consider the F3 Go treadmill. It’s sleek and sturdy, with an excellent cushioning system and bright backlit console.
While it does fall down in terms of entertainment options and certain design features, if you really love the Life Fitness name, and don’t need all the bells and whistles, you’ll probably be very happy with this treadmill.
