Nordictrack 1750 vs Proform 2000 – How They’re The Same:

Both treadmills offer:

#1 iFit LIVE Compatibility

Both treadmill let you connect online to iFit and download new workouts to your treadmill, track  your workout stats online, etc.

You’re going to have a bit of a different iFit experience with the Nordictrack 1750 than with the Proform 2000 due to the different consoles (see below), but iFit is still available on both treadmills.

#2 Up to 15% incline and 3% Decline

The decline can help add some extra challenge to your workouts.

This is a great way to watch your favorite shows or movies as you workout.

#4 Long 22 x 60 inch Belt

This gives you extra room to spread out – especially great for runners.

Nordictrack 1750 vs Proform 2000 – How They’re Different:

#1 Price

As of this writing the Proform Pro 2000 is about $200 less than the Nordictrack 1750. So it’s the more affordable model. But is the extra $200 worth it for the Nordictrack 1750? Read on.

#2 Console

This is where these treadmills really differ. The Proform 2000 gives you a dual color console only (see below).

Proform 2000 Pro Console

The Nordictrack 1750 gives you a full color console – with a touch-screen web browser (see below).

So you can go online and surf the net as you walk – which you can’t do with the Proform 2000.

If you don’t plan on using your tablet to connect to iFit LIVE, then you can use the browser on the 1750 to connect and watch iFit scenes in full color as you run. Again, this is something you cannot do on the Proform 2000.

#3 Belt

While the belt size is the same, the 1750 carries a 2-ply belt whereas the Proform Pro 2000 only has a 1 ply belt.

This means the 1750 belt is tougher and can handle a bit more of a beating than the belt on the 2000 treadmill. This is something most people don’t actually catch when they compare the 1750 vs Proform 2000.

#4 Adjustable Cushioning

The Nordictrack 1750 has the option for adjustable cushioning. So if you want more of a road-like feel, you turn it down. If you want more protection, you turn the cushioning up. The Proform Pro 2000 treadmill does not have this option.

#5 Motor Power

The Nordictrack 1750 edges out the Proform 2000 treadmill here – but just slightly. The 1750 has a 3.8 HP motor and the Proform 2000 has a 3.5 HP motor. Both are still pretty impressive for this price point.

So those are the main differences between the Nordictrack 1750 vs Proform 2000 treadmill. Want to learn more? Check out the links below for more on each treadmill.
