Nordictrack C700 Treadmill Benefits:
#1 Folds Up To Save Space
If you’re short on workout space the C700 easily folds up and out of the way. The folding mechanism is a shock-assisted lift to make folding the treadmill easier on your back.
Once it locks into place there are wheels on the bottom so you can move the treadmill around.
#2 Adjustable Cushioning
Add a bit of customization to your workout with the adjustable cushioning. You can make the deck firmer for a more road-like feel or make it softer to turn up the cushioning protection – great for those prone to shin splints or knee problems.
#3 Tablet Holder
There is a sturdy bracket above the console you can use to hold your tablet. So you can watch your favorite shows or movies as you walk.
You can also use your tablet to connect to iFit online and then watch the real life trails pass you by for a more virtual reality training experience.
#4 iFit Compatible
iFit is an online program that connects to your treadmill. From there you can save and track your workouts over time, set new goals and even download new workout programs from Jillian Michaels where she coaches you through your workout.
You can also run famous world trails – from Paris to Hawaii – and watch as real life landmarks pass you by in the screen. (Note you’ll need a tablet and iFit Subscription to do this.
#5 Built in 20 Workout Programs
Don’t want to use iFit? No problem, there are 20 built-in workout programs designed by a personal trainer that come pre-loaded with the treadmill. They automatically adjust the incline and speed for you based on the program goals.
#6 Console Fan To Stay Cool
The Nordictrack C700 treadmill console comes with a built-in fan to help you stay cool while you walk. The fan automatically adjusts to match your workout intensity – or you can adjust it manually.
Nordictrack C700 Treadmill Drawbacks:
The console on this treadmill is much simpler than their other models. That doesn’t make it a bad console, just a bit limited.
And as stated above, you’ll need an iFit LIVE subscription and your own tablet if you want to get the full iFit virtual reality experience.
Bottom Line?
If you’re looking for a solid starter treadmill under $800 with all the basics, you’ll probably love the Nordicrack C700.
It lacks some of the style of Nordictrack’s other treadmill (no decline or web browser) but its ideal for people who just want a well-built treadmill without a lot of expensive “bells and whistles”.
