Nordictrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill Review – Benefits:
Full-Color, HD, Touch Screen
There’s an interactive, HD full-color console on this unit. So you can see your workout statistics in full color as you run.
You can also connect directly to iFit Coach and run all over the world – from Hawaii to Thailand – enjoying the scenery through your console as you run.
Or take a high-energy fitness class from your console if you need extra challenge (more on iFit below).
Nordictrack increased the size of the console on this treadmill from 7 inches last year up to 10 inches this year. So it’s much more enjoyable to watch your workouts on the larger console.
Plus Nordictrack also updated the console graphics this year. So the console is even brighter and more enjoyable to watch.
More Room To Move
At 22 x 60 inches, this is one of the largest (and widest) belts on the market at this price point. This gives you extra room to stretch out and run. It’s also ideal for taller users.
Travel the World With iFit
iFit Coach connects your treadmill to the Internet. From there you can do all sorts of fun things.
You can run famous trails all over the world. Hike the Grand Canyon or run through the streets of Paris, watching famous landmarks pass you by for some virtual reality fun.
You can also watch workouts with personal trainers as they lead you through the workout, coaching you along the way.
One of the coolest things to do is to map out new trails to run all over the world. iFit works with Googlemaps so that you see the actual terrain pass you by in the console screen – very cool. Here’s a quick video of iFit in action:
And the best part?
While iFit is usually a monthly subscription service, if you get the Nordictrack 1750 through the manufacturer, you can get a Full Subscription to iFit Coach included for a short time. So you can try it out first to see if you like it.
(You don’t need iFit to use this treadmill – it works fine without it. iFit is just an add-on option if you want it).

Incline AND Decline
You get both 15% incline and a 3% decline for a better crosstraining workout on the 1750 treadmill. This also works with the iFit LIVE and Googlemaps. So it inclines and declines with the trail for a more realistic experience.
Upgraded Cushioning
The new model upgrades to RunnersFlex Adjustable Cushioning. You can adjust the deck to suit you.
Turn it on for more cushioning protection. Or for more of a “road” feel, you can turn it off which locks out cushioning dampeners for a firmer surface feel.
Added Accessories Tray
Stash your towel or remote on the accessories tray between the deck posts.
Upgraded LIVE Classes
Last year, you could only stream fitness classes from the iFit library (pre-recorded).
However this year, iFit now offers LIVE classes. So you can follow your favorite trainer in real time, take the class at the same time with online friends and even text your trainer your questions!
This adds a whole new excitement to your training.
Upgraded Trainer Control
Nordictrack also added enhanced trainer control to the new model. This basically means that the treadmill responds faster in real time to the trainer on your iFit screen – whether you’re taking a class or running a guided world trail.
It really gives you a more immersive experience to your training – very cool.
Bottom Line?
The new Commercial Nordictrack 1750 comes with many of the perks that made the older model a “Best Buy”. It also adds some new upgrades for you like a brighter console, LIVE classes and faster response time.
If you want a good mix of strong construction and fun entertainment – for an affordable price, this is a great option.
