Proform City L6 Review – Benefits:

Super Compact Design that Folds Flat

If you don’t have the space for a large, heavy treadmill in your home, the Proform City L6 is perfect. It has a reduced footprint size that is much smaller than a standard treadmill.

Plus it folds up flat with easy roll wheels on the bottom. So you can move it out of the way and store it easily in a closet or behind a door.

It’s also lighter than a traditional treadmill, coming in around 125 pounds. So it’s considerably easier to move around as well – as compared to a regular treadmill.

Travel the World With iFit Coach

The Proform L6 Treadmill comes iFit compatible.

But unlike most other Proform treadmills, you can’t connect through the console since the console is smaller and simpler.

Proform however has added a tablet holder above the console that you can use to hold your tablet and connect to iFit online that way.

You can then run trails all over the world or take a new fitness class every day from the comfort of your living room.

There are literally thousands of world trails to expore and studio fitness classes to try.

You can choose from a large variety of different workouts – from beginner walking workouts to strength training to more intense HIIT training workouts.

You can also sync your results with iFit Coach and go online to see how far you’ve come. This can be inspiring to see how far you’ve come and it’s a great way to track your progress over time.

Super-Affordable for Tight Budgets

Inflation is a real thing these days. No doubt you’ve seen it creep into food and gas prices.

But it’s also creeping into treadmill prices as well. It can be near impossible to even find a treadmill under $1000 these days.

However the Proform City L6 comes in at a very attractive price point of under $800. This makes it a great little budget buy that won’t break the bank.

Built-in Tablet Holder

Don’t want to connect to iFit online with your tablet? You can also just use the tablet holder to watch movies, Netfliex or Youtube videos as you walk.

So you can add in your own entertainment features with the tablet holder on this treadmill. It may seem like a small thing but it’s getting harder to find a tablet holder on treadmills these days. So it’s nice to find here.

Proform City L6 Treadmill Review – Any Drawbacks?

This treadmill is built specifically as a compact treadmill. It doesn’t have some of the perks of a “standard” treadmill. For example, there is no incline option with this treadmill.

The belt is also much shorter than a traditional belt: 45 inches vs 55 inches.

Also, while the console is simple and easy to use, it also is a bit limited. You see the basics and that’s about it.

The motor is also not as tough or strong as a traditional treadmill. It should be fine for walkers – but runners may not want to push it.

Bottom Line?

If you’re looking for a super-affordable compact treadmill from a good brand name, the Proform City L6 is definitely worth checking out.

It’s light and compact. Plus it folds up almost flat.

This makes it ideal for condo, apartments, offices or workout areas that double as something else – like your living room.

You do trade off some of the perks of a traditional treadmill like incline, motor and a longer belt. But if you’re looking for something light and easy to move around, this is a great option.
