Proform Pro 7500 Treadmill Review
Pros and Cons of the 2015 Proform Pro 7500 Treadmill:

The Pro 7500 treadmill is the mid-range model in Proforms new “Pro” series.
This is a series of home treadmills that are built with higher end components, stronger motors and more entertainment options than Proform’s starter treadmills.
The Pro 7500 treadmill is a great blend of solid construction (high powered motor, extra wide belt, strong deck) – with plenty of fun entertainment options (full color web browser, iPod dock, iFit LIVE).

Proform 7500 Pro Treadmill Review – The Pros:
#1 Super-Strong 4.0 HP Motor
This is a great motor power – especially at this price point. It can easily power the treadmill through long, running workouts without strain.
#2 Touch-Screen, Full-Color Web Browser
The Console on the Pro 7500 carries a Touch-Screen, full-color, 7-inch web browser. You can surf the net, read emails or watch Youtube videos with the swipe of your finger. You can also easily see your workout stats as you surf as well.
#3 iFit LIVE Built-In
The Pro 7500 treadmill comes with iFit LIVE built-in (you don’t need to buy the iFit module). With iFit, you can go online and map out new trails to run while watching actual landmarks pass you by in the console screen.
You can also download new workouts from celebrity trainers and track your fitness stats over time.
#4 Incline AND Decline
You get up to 15% incline and even 3% decline for added crosstraining on this treadmill. The incline/decline integrates with iFit to mirror the actual terrain of whatever trail you’re running – very virtual reality.
#5 Integrated Tablet Holder
A sturdy, removable bracket holds your tablet above the console. So you can watch movies or shows as you run.
Plus, because it doesn’t cover the console, you can watch your tablet – while watching your workout stats or surfing the net on the console.
#6 Free Wireless Heart Rate Monitor
The Proform Pro 7500 comes with a free wireless heart rate monitor as well as hand sensors to stay in your target heart rate zone.
Proform Pro 7500 Treadmill Review – the Cons:
#1 iFit LIVE Subscription Extra
While you don’t need iFit to use this treadmill (the treadmill – and web browser work just fine without it) – you will need to purchase an online subscription to use iFit programs (about $99 a year) if you want to try it out.
#2 Hard-to-Reach Cupholder Tray
There is a second tray under the console you can use to hold your keys, water bottles and more.
This is handy – however it can be a bit hard to reach, especially if running – you really have to bend down, which can be awkward.
#3 Medium Sized Web Browser
While this isn’t really a con – some people prefer to have the larger 10 inch web browser found on the next model up – the Pro 9000 (also has a stronger motor and more workouts).
Bottom Line?
If you’re looking for a solid runner-friendly treadmill for under $1500 that gives you a strong deck, solid cushioning – and tons of entertainment options thrown in, you’ll probably love the Pro 7500.
It gives you a super-strong motor, extra long belt and excellent warranty as well – great for runners or heavier usage homes. Plus, the addition of the tablet holder adds another layer of entertainment options to your workout choices – very nice.
Similar treadmills to compare it against are the Nordictrack Commercial 1750 and the Horizon Elite T7.
